Fun Fair & Fireworks
The weekend’s activities continue at Olney Manor Park (Georgia Ave & Emory Lane), Saturday afternoon. Activities begin at 4:00 pm and go on until about 9:00 pm or dark, whichever comes first when the evening ends with FIREWORKS. The afternoon and evening is filled with entertainment and games for our little ones, and a variety of athletic and food-eating contests everyone can enjoy, either as a participant or as a spectator. Then everyone can settle in all around the Park to enjoy another great Zambelli Fireworks display right over your heads. So, check out the schedule to be sure you don’t miss your favorite event.
At 4:00 pm, The Nicolo Whimsey Show will appear on the Olney Days Stage in front of the Swim Center to delight and amuse our pre-school and early elementary aged participants. At the same time, the Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will begin their Carnival games and food sales; and The Little Gym Play Area will be ready to go. At 5:00 pm, the Fire Engine Rides and Quint 40 Egg Drop Contest begin.
Also at 4:00 pm, the Homerun Derby will begin on Ballfields 4 & 5, and the Lacrosse Shoot-Out will begin on Ballfield 3, and will follow the schedule below.
